29th September, the 2020 Shaanxi Provincial Key Investment Projects Signing Ceremony, hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and undertaken by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce and the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, was held at  Xi'an Renmin Building International Convention and Exhibition Center. Tongchuan has successfully signed 7 projects, involving an amount of 10.1 billion yuan, including 1 foreign-funded project, involving an amount of 680 million yuan.

     The signing was held in the form of a combination of cloud signing and on-site signing, with one main venue (Xi'an) and multiple network branch venues (outside of Xi'an). Zhao Yide, Governor of Shaanxi Province, delivered a speech, and Zhao Jing, Director of the Department of Commerce of       Shaanxi Province, presided over the signing ceremony. Chen Xiaoyan, member of the Standing Committee of the Tongchuan Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor, attended the signing ceremony.

      It’s clear that a total of 71 contract projects with a total investment of 110.164 billion yuan have been confirmed in this centralized signing ceremony. Among them, 64 inter-provincial contract projects with a total investment of 103.904 billion yuan and 7 cooperation projects utilizing foreign capital with a total investment of 6.26 billion yuan RMB.

      The key projects signed by Tongchuan this time involve urban complexes, education, optoelectronics, aerospace, manufacturing and other industrial fields. Among them, the only foreign (Taiwan-funded) project signed this time, the third-generation gallium nitride semiconductor epitaxial wafer project, was invested and constructed by Shaanxi Yuteng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 680 million yuan and a proposed land area of about 30,000 square meters. Construction of the third-generation gallium nitride semiconductor epitaxial wafer development and supporting industrialization project; the project will be invested in four phases, with a construction period of 4 years, and a total of 20 epitaxial production lines will be built and put into production.

      The Tongchuan Aerospace Education Town project is invested and constructed by Shaanxi Hengkun Investment Co., Ltd. with a total investment of about 3.5 billion yuan. The project covers an area of 473 acres. In order to cooperate with Shaanxi's "One Belt, One Road" strategic positioning, the school's partner is directly under the Ministry of Education. The foreign language school will build a primary and junior high school with a nine-year system covering an area of 83 acres. The nature of the school is a non-profit school.

       The commercial aerospace solid rocket engine final assembly and test construction project was invested and constructed by Shaanxi Lingdong Technology Co., Ltd. with a total investment of about 1 billion yuan. The construction project of the commercial solid rocket final assembly and final test plant was built in the logistics park of Guanzhuang Town, Yaozhou District, Tongchuan City. Manufacturing of rocket engines, including production of key parts and sub-systems, final assembly and testing, etc. Supporting the construction of engine assembly and testing workshop, comprehensive control workshop, physical and chemical testing center, product turnover warehouse, comprehensive office building, etc.

       After the signing ceremony, Vice Mayor Chen Xiaoyan met with Lin Liteng, Chairman of Shaanxi Yuteng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.
