On 11th June, 2022, Shaanxi Yuteng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.'s new optoelectronic material project commissioning ceremony was held in Tongchuan New Area and the opening ceremony of Yuteng (Tongchuan) Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Industrial Park "New Materials"!

After several guests wished good luck, the General Manager of our company said, “Dear Director Liu Tianxiong, General Secretary Han Xiaohui, Mayor Song Guihe, leaders, guests, ladies and gentlemen, good morning everyone. Welcome to today's opening ceremony in your busy schedule. Today I'm very excited. Nine years ago, I took a China Airlines plane for the first time on the mainland of the motherland and came to Shaanxi for the first time. This place with a long history and splendid civilization, this name that has appeared in the history textbooks of Xiaohe Junior High School in our country for many times, has formed a deep and indissoluble bond with me since then. I remember that day was 8th March, 2013, and it was a day I will never forget.

In a flash, I entered to my 10th year in Shaanxi. During this period, I initially worked in Xi'an as the head of Huaxin United Technology's Chip Division as a Taiwanese company listed on the "Huaxin Lihua" stock exchange, and in 2015, due to the company's strategic planning to leave Xi'an, I decided to leave my job and stay to start a business. Today, Shaanxi Yuhua has taken shape and embarked on a new journey. These long and short ten years have been accompanied by the vigorous development of China's semiconductor technology industry. It was a decade of rapid progress in the Western business environment. This has been my personal entry into the semiconductor industry since I left the community in 2000. The golden decade of my life at 22. Only the age has changed in the last ten years, and the young man's head has turned gray; what hasn't changed is the original intent, but I'm still young!

Yuteng became associated with Tongchuan two years ago. This is “city of happiness”, “city of good people” and “famous historical and cultural city”, which has given birth to many great sages, has brought us not only a livable environment and rich spiritual nutrients; it's also Tongchuan governments of all levels that are working together.They use open-mindedness, pragmatic style and excellent service to provide us with a high-quality business environment, so that we can start business here with peace of mind, fight here and realize our dreams here! My heart is full of deep gratitude!

Today, "Yuteng Technology New Photovoltaic Materials Project” in Tongchuan New Materials Industrial Park is the result of many years' experience of our team. Below is a brief report on the main situation in the field of ”Development of new photovoltaic materials and support of industrialization projects".:

(1) The project is invested and built by Yuteng (Tongchuan) Semiconductor Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shaanxi Yuteng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., which mainly manufactures products such as third-generation semiconductors (gallium nitride epitaxial wafers) and epitaxial silicon wafers with a thick oxide layer. At present, these products are almost all stuck in technology; especially epitaxial thick oxide silicon wafers, which are currently completely empty in China and completely monopolized by foreign countries;

(2) The total investment of the project is 158 million yuan, and it will be put into operation in two stages;

(3) The total land area is 1617.55 m² (about 2.4 million square meters), and the total building area is 7434.67m²  (total 5 floors).

￭ The first phase of the project: construction of 4 production lines with an annual output of 70,000 photovoltaic epitaxial products and an annual sales of about 250 million yuan. The total annual production tax paid is 10 million yuan, and more than 50 new jobs have been added. (Equipment setup 11/06/2022 will start this month and production release will start in the fourth quarter);

￭ The second phase of the project: in 2024, it's planned to add 6 production lines according to market demand, with an annual output of 100,000 photovoltaic epitaxial wafers, with an annual sales of about 350 million yuan, an average annual production tax payment of 20 million yuan and also more than 50 new jobs;

￭ After the first and second phases of the project will built and put into operation, the annual output can reach 600 million yuan, the average annual production tax paid is 30 million yuan, more than 100 new job vacancies and the average production value per acre is 250 million yuan.

As an entrepreneur, I'm a semiconductor veteran; as a technology company of Yuteng, we're a force in the field of semiconductors.The test run of the “Shaanxi Yuteng New Photovoltaic Materials Project” started today and Yuteng (Tongchuan) Semiconductor Co., Ltd. officially opened. This is a completely new starting point. Here, I would like to once again sincerely thanks the Tongchuan City Party Committee and the Municipal Government, leaders of all levels and various departments for their attention and support to us. I remember that on 31st July, 2020 at the “National Taiwan Cheer Federation Quality Development of Tongchuan” held at the Yuhua Palace Hotel in Beijing, I signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Yang Jun, director of the New Materials Industrial Park. Thank you, Director Yang for choosing Yuteng as a hero. You and the team have a keen eye and I also believe that the Yutenga brothers and sisters should be heroes.（applause）

Also, I would like to express my special thanks to Rongxin and all Shaanxi Bajian colleagues who are responsible for the construction of our factory, especially Chairman Feng Chao and Wu Wenqiang (Mr. Wu) of Shaanxi Bajian, who spared no effort in actively coordinating and working overtime on our factory. With the help of leaders and the support of various joint departments, Yuteng Technology opens today! Thank you guys!

Here, I would also like to especially thank the heads of Taiwan's provincial and municipal offices for providing us with quality and warm assistance and service. This is a solid support for the development of our Taiwanese businessmen in the mainland, as well as our close family in the mainland.（applause）

Compatriots on both sides of the strait have the same roots and the same culture. Family members of the Xi'an Taiwan Merchants' Association took the stage today. Our eldest son, President Yang Hongpeng, and all the directors and leaders also arrived at the scene. Taiwanese businessmen and entrepreneurs have invested in Shaanxi, the group was told for warmth and deep integration. Many people also have created cross-strait families (me too), which truly interprets the deep meaning of “cross-strait family.” Standing here today as the first Taiwan-funded enterprise in the park, we have the responsibility and obligation to help the government and merchants in the near future and actively encourage attract more outstanding Taiwanese talent, technology and enterprises to the park so that this newly established “Taiwan Industrial Park” shines brightly!

Thank you for coming from afar and thanks to all the cooperative merchants, corporate partners and investment institutions who are meeting again, your affirmation is the driving force for Yuteng to move forward!

As the event drew to a close, Lin Liteng (general manager of Shaanxi Yuteng) and Liu Yetong (chairman of the board) cut the ribbon for the opening of the new company Yuteng (Tongchuan) Semiconductor Co., Ltd. and the commissioning of the new material project of Shaanxi Yuteng Optoelectronics. And wish Yuteng (Tongchuan) Semiconductor a more brilliant future.

Then, accompanied by general manager Lin Liteng, chairman Liu Ye, director of commercial department Wang Yongwei and all the employees of the commercial department, the guests who participated in this event worked in the dust-free workshop on the first floor of the factory, vacuum pump maintenance area and showroom on the third floor.
